With students being rampant consumers of all things digital it’s a bit of a no brainer that they are a key demographic for internet providers. With this in mind, we have fronted up Virgin Media’s student campaign for the past 2 years, employing a 75+ strong team of brand ambassadors at locations across the UK to sell broadband and TV packages to their peers. Using a tiered approach, we tasked our Virgin Media Brand Ambassadors (VMBAs) with firstly spreading awareness of Virgin Media’s services and collecting leads, and secondly converting leads and generating sales.

We supported this activity with a number of competitions and initiatives such as a text competition to win VIP V Festival tickets.
